Measures 1-1/8 x 1-3/8". A thick disk of lustrous mother of pearl is carved with a chevron pattern and strapped into place with a band of gold-tone metal. The mother of pearl is prong-set into a braided frame of gold-tone. C-clasp holds well. The C-clasp and extra long very sharp pin stem mark this piece as Victorian. No damage to shell.
