Victorian Green & White Rhinestone Brooch
Item #CW134810
Measures 1-3/8" in diameter. Emerald green and brilliant white rhinestones are prong-set in gold-tone. The brooch is nicely dimensional, rising in a dome from the edges, but sunken in the center. This gives the brooch a very interesting, organic look. It can be dated to the late 1800s by the T-hinge, C-clasp, and long pin stem. This piece has an interesting and unusual safety feature, a V-shape hinged beneath and beside the C-clasp which swings up to support the pin stem from behind and keeps it securely in the clasp. No missing or dead stones. No damage to old-gold plating. This is a wonderful old brooch in outstanding condition. $115.00 (Includes insured shipping to a U.S.A. address)
