Measures 1-3/8 x 2-1/2". This charming brooch shows a woman carrying her baby on a cradle board on her back. She has a large pot or olla in her arms. Her flesh is enameled brown, as is the baby's face. Her hair is enameled black, with a green headband and red feather. Her moccasins are enameled blue-green and her dress is decorated with yellow and red enamel. The baby's cradleboard is enameled yellow and white. Excellent detail of clothing, with clearly defined fringe around the bottoms of her leggings. Safety clasp holds well.
