Measures 1-1/8 x 2". This outstanding silver pin shows a Scottish dancing in full traditional regalia. The kilt and plaid are reticulated, for greater complexity and lighter weight. The details make this brooch remarkable, all the way from the beading at the base of the feather in the dancer's cap, the ruffles on her blouse, the pattern of the argyle socks and bows on her shoes. Marked WL in script in a shield STERLING. Safety clasp holds well. No signs of wear or damage.
