Trifari Green Rhinestone Pansy Fur or Pin Clip

Measures 1-1/2 x 1-3/4". This charming gold-tone pansy has rays of open-work emerald-green rhinestones around a center paved with white rhinestones. Pin or fur clip has one safety clasp, which holds well. Marked TRIFARI with a crown over the T and PAT.PEND. The patent for this clip is Des.155317, which was applied for in May of 1949 and issued in September of 1949. This piece was probably manufactured between those dates, as similar pieces made after the patent was issued bear the patent number. No missing or dead stones.
