Old Carved Amethyst Chinese Brooch

Measures 1 x 1-1/4". Carved and pierced amythyst is prongset in a setting marked CHINA SILVER and with Chinese characters. Safety clasp holds well. The stone carving and marks are typical of jewelry exported from China in the 1920s and 1930s. No damage to carved stone. Pin stem slightly bent, but fully functional. Normal patina of vintage silver. (SOLD)
