Measures 1-3/4 x 3-7/8". This sweet old flower brooch dates to the late 1930s. It is cast from white pot metal and has been handpainted with purple flowers and green leaves. The centers of the flowers are made of amethyst purple acrylic plastic. The color and faceting of these purple plastic stones make them nearly indistinguishable from the best glass stones of the time. Safety clasp holds well.
