Measures 1-1/8 x 1-5/8". This beautiful brooch shows a brightly colored kookaburra bird sitting on a branch beside a winding river. A golden butterfly flits above the water. The image is composed of butterfly wings applied in a carefully detailed mosaic. Only the branch appears to be painted. A domed glass crystal protects the image and is held within a sterling frame. C-clasp and tube-style hinge hold securely. Marked SILVER and PAT APPLD FOR. Light patina of vintage silver has been left undisturbed. No damage to glass crystal or image.
