Pom-Pom measures 1 x 1-3/4". Tom-Tom measures 1-1/8 x 1-1/2". These remarkable pins are plated in rhodium for a brilliant, shiny finish. The clothing is molded sapphire blue glass, with rhinestone accents at head, bodice, waist, hands, and feet. Both are marked Trifari with a crown over the T. Pom-Pom is also marked PAT. PEND. Tom-Tom is marked DES. PAT. 153, 552. This patent was awarded to Alfred Philippe in 1949. These charming pins can be seen on pages 119 and 120 of "American Costume Jewelry" by the Brunialtis.
