1946 Pink Carnation Coro Craft Sterling Fur Clip & Earrings Set
Item #CF132242
Clip measures 1-1/2 x 2-1/2". Earrings measure 1 x 1-1/8". This charming set is an Adolph Katz design. The sterling is plated in gold, then enameled with 2 shades of pink on the carnation flowers and green on the leaves. Tiny white rhinestones accent the flower petals and stem. Marked Coro (in script) CRAFT STERLING. This flower matches the U.S. Design Patent 146,140, granted to Katz in 1946. A 1946 magazine ad identified this set as the "Bachelor's Carnation." Pin-style clip back holds well. Earring screw backs hold well. No missing or dead rhinestones. No wear to plating or enameling. This is an outstanding example of the finest Coro jewelry. And just think how great this pink carnation would look on a "white sports coat!" $325.00 (Includes insured shipping to a U.S.A. address)
