Walter Lampl Enameled Sterling & Marcasite Poinsettia Perfume Brooch

Measures 1-1/4 x 1-3/4". This lovely Christmas theme brooch has extremely high-quality enameling over the openwork sterling. Framed in marcasites, it depicts green holly with red berries around an orange poinsettia with a yellow center. The silver is plated with rhodium for a bright durable shine. There is a small reservoir on the back of the piece, filled with cotton. This cotton was meant to hold a drop of perfume. No scent or evidence that the cotton was actually used. Marked STERLING W.L. Safety clasp holds well. No missing stones, no damage to enameling. (SOLD)
