1952 LaPaglia Sterling Grape Brooch

Measures 1-1/2 x 2-1/8". This beautifully designed and finely crafted grape motif brooch was created by the outstanding artist, Alphonse La Paglia. La Paglia was a designer for George Jensen in the United States during the 1940s, but established his own business in 1952. Sadly, his career was cut short by his untimely death in 1953. Marked LaPaglia in script. Safety clasp holds well. Patina of vintage silver has been left undisturbed. (SOLD)
