1930s Agrippa French Grotesque Mask Dress Clip

Measures 1-1/4 x 1-7/8". This magnificent Galalith clip is worked from pale peach/gold casein plastic. Made in France, it displays outstanding craftsmanship. The grotesque mask-like face has slanted eyes and assymetrical mouth and cheeks. The deepset eyes are tiny faceted black glass stones. These eyes are replacements, as the originals were missing when we received this piece. Marked AGRIPPA CLIPS DEPOSE. Clip back holds tightly. No signs of wear or damage to plastic or clip.
