Walter Lampl Victorian Revival Watch Brooch

Measures 1-5/8" wide. Total length with fringe is 2-1/2". This beautiful Victorian Revival brooch is made of antiqued gold-tone metal enameled in blue and dark red. It is set with glass faux pearls and a has a central prong-set white rhinestone. The top unlatches and the front swings open to reveal a lovely 17 jewel watch. The watch face is marked OVINGTON'S SWISS. The watch has been recently cleaned and serviced and runs perfectly. On the back, the brooch is marked WL, the older Lampl mark, and engraved with the initials of the owner M-W-G. There is a very faint number scratched into the mirrored surface opposite the watch. This appears to be a pawn shop identifier number, so the watch may have been used as security on a loan at some point in the past. Safety clasp holds well. Minor wear to a few of the faux pearls.
