Measures 1-3/4 x 2-1/4”. Beautifully sculpted and detailed, this elegant bird has wings composed of brilliant white rhinestones in a wide variety of unusual shapes and sizes – navettes, emerald-cut, baguettes, ovals, and diamond. The tips of the forked tail are channel set with narrow baguettes. The head is paved with tiny white rhinestones and accented by a ruby red rhinestone eye. The golden plating is entirely intact. Marked TRIFARI with a crown over the T. Safety clasp holds well. This lovely figural brooch dates to circa 1950. No missing or dead stones.
