Measures 2 x 2-1/2". This extraordinary brooch features a high relief image of a nude sculptor with mallet and chisel creating the image of his dream woman. The lustrous gold-tone image is framed with red rhinestones. Marked VANS AUTHENTICS 2428. It can be worn as a brooch or as a pearl enhancer, as it has a hook at the top of the back. Safety clasp holds well. Original department store price tag still attached, indicating that it has never been worn. Dates to the 1960s. No wear to plating.
