1951 Trifari "Alfred Philippe" Basket Brooch

Measures 1-1/2 x 1-7/8". Three molded white glass flowers with tiny rhinestone centers fill this elegant basket. The plating is a rich gold-tone slightly tinted with rose. Marked TRIFARI with a crown over the T and PAT. PEND. The design patent for this brooch is #162454, awarded to Alfred Philippe on March 13, 1951. Safety clasp holds well. No missing or dead stones.
