Measures 7/8 x 1-1/4". This lovely little pin was part of a series of tropical-themed jewelry created for Walter Lampl during the late 1930s. The sail is paved with marcasites. The hull is dark green enamel, with lighter green guilloche waves beneath. A blue enamel pennant flies at the top of the mast. The silver is plated with rhodium, for permanent shine. Marked W.L. STERLING. Safety clasp holds well. No missing marcasites. No wear to enamel or plating.
