Art Nouveau Era Three Graces Cameo Brooch

Measures 1-1/2 x 1-7/8". This beautiful old shell cameo depicts the three Graces of Greek mythology. They are dancing beneath an arch of roses, wearing short filmy gowns. The cameo is set in a silver-tone frame with a twisted rope border. Although unmarked, this setting appears to be 800 silver or better. The original T-hinge and pin-stem are present, but the safety clasp appears to be a replacement. The brooch probably had a C-clasp originally, which some previous owner replaced for greater security. The replacement was skillfully done and is unobtrusive. No chips, scratches, or other damage to the cameo.
