French Art Deco Orange Green Rhinestone Flower Pin

Measures 1-1/4 x 3-1/2". Beautiful orange oval rheinestones form the center and petals of the flower, with small green rhinestone accents. These stones all appear to be what is known as "paste" as the backs of the green stones are open and can be seen to have a black coating rather than the newer foiling. Rose gold plating appears to be applied over copper or bronze, judging by the one small worn area on one of the leaves. Trombone clasp indicates a date of the 1920s to 1930s and European origins.
