Victorian 10K Rose Gold & Pearls Brooch/Pendant

Measures 1-1/2 x 2". Beautiful hollow construction in rose gold, richly multi-layered, with 8 small pearls ranging in size from 2 to 4 mm. A finely detailed stamped yellow gold bird crowns the piece. Original C-clasp with extra long pin stem holds well. T-style hinge. Bale allows use as pendant, as well. It appears that there were once pendant drops at the bottom of the piece, as evidenced on the back by 2 small loops and one place where a loop is missing and a repair has been done with silver solder.
