Measures 1-1/8 x 1-5/8". Beautifully worked enameling in rose and black, with brilliant white crystals set beneath the clear enamel finish. Marked Catherine Popesco FRANCE. Safety clasp holds well. No damage to enameling. Popesco is a contemporary designer working with original molds from the Art Deco era. The enameling on her pieces is hand-painted with tiny brushes over bases of silver-plated copper or antiqued brass. All crystals are hand-set. (SOLD)
