Measures 1-1/2 x 1-3/4". This beautiful Victorian Revival brooch has a hook on the back for hanging a pendant or watch from. Could be used for a locket, a cameo, or your favorite Victorian style watch. Marked WL, one of the earlier Lampl marks, and PAT. 206696 (the final digit of this patent number is missing, but would be a 9). This patent is for the safety clasp mechanism and dates to 1937.
