Gorgeous 1930s Enamel Lily Brooch
Item #BA1311137
Measures 2-1/2 x 4-1/4". This beautifully brooch has riveted construction, rich enameling, faux pearls, and white rhinestones. The stems of the flower are plated in gold, but the rhinestone areas are silver-tone for greater shine. The green enameling on the leaves and peach enameling on the petals is in very good condition overall, with very minor wear. The gold plating on the stems shows significant wear, with lots of silver showing through. No damage to faux glass pearls. Missing one tiny rhinestone in an inconspicuous place. Two rhinestones are dead and 3 or 4 others show minor graying. This is a lovely vintage piece as is, but could be fully restored if you prefer. Dates to the late 1930s. Unsigned, but very similar to the brooches made by Trifari and Coro at this time, both in style and in construction. (SOLD)
