Fantastic Retro Gold Vermeil Sterling Flower Brooch

Measures 1-3/4 x 3". Substantial weight silver with gold vermeil plating. The rectangular red glass stones are open-backed and unfoiled, with unusual faceting. All stones are prong-set. Marked STERLING. No other marks, but the stones and style of this piece are very similar to a 1946 Eisenberg brooch that can be seen in this ad (courtesy of Morning Glory Antiques). Our brooch has been confirmed as probably Eisenberg by a leading expert on Eisenberg jewelry, but this attribution can't be certain. The quality and style are certainly here, however. No missing stones. A few of the white rhinestones show very slight graying. Gold plating intact. Safety clasp holds well. $165.00 (Includes insured shipping to a U.S.A. address)
