1940s Spanish Dancers Mexican Silver Brooch Set

The male dancer measures 1-3/4 x 2-1/2". His female partner is slightly smaller. These finely sculpted brooches depict a pair of flamenco dancers, each holding turquoise cabochon maracas. Marked SILVER MADE IN MEXICO. This is the mark found on Mexican sterling prior to 1948. Safety clasps holds well. The toreador pin stem has been slightly bent and straightened in the past.
