Measures 1 x 2-3/8". A graceful floral bouquet with strong Art Deco styling. Marked STERLING WL and PAT. 130141. This patent number is for a design patent issued to Carl Schraysshuen of Providence, Rhode Island on Oct. 28, 1941. This patent is for the flower findings. It can be seen by clicking here. As the term of the patent was 7 years, this brooch can be dated to 1942 to 1948. Very good condition, with normal patina of old silver. Pin stem has been bent, but works well. Safety clasp intact.
