Measures 2 x 4". This very substantial brooch has real heft and tremendous presence. Typifying the Etruscan Revival style, the brooch is ornately detailed and highly sculptural. It is plated in antiqued gold-tone and marked ETRUSCEANA with a copyright symbol. Roberto Brunialti, the acclaimed costume jewelry historian, states that Etrusceana was a line and trademark of the Rice-Warner jewelry company, produced in 1941. Safetly clasp holds well.
