Nautilus Sterling Brooch

Measures 1-1/4 x 2-1/4". This beautiful Retro style brooch takes its inspiration from the nautilus shell. The rose gold vermeil shell shape appears to be spewing an ascending wave of oval cabochon open-backed unfoiled sapphire blue glass stones. A curl of pavee' white rhinestones lightens the design and adds interest. Marked STERLING, this brooch dates to the World War II era. Safety clasp holds well. No missing or dead stones. Light patina of vintage silver on the front, more on the back. (SOLD)
