Pretty Carved Shell Cameo Silver Pin

Measures 1-1/8 x 1-3/8". Very pretty woman in profile with delicately carved hair and features. Simple silver frame has a twisted rope of gold. Safety clasp holds well. Fold-down bale allows it to be worn as a pendant necklace, as well. Marked 800, which is a silver purity of 800 parts per thousand, with sterling being 925 parts per thousand. This appears to be an older cameo. It is difficult to judge the exact age, but based on the hairstyle and clothing we would estimate 1930s. (SOLD)
