Large Art Deco Dress Clip with Sapphire Rhinestone Peaked Cabochons

Measures 2-1/4 x 2-1/2". This beautiful shield-shaped dress clip is paved with brilliant white rhinestones and set with white baguettes. Finishing each "arm" at the top is a dark sapphire blue peaked cabochon. The piece is plated with silver-tone rhodium. It is unmarked, but this design has been attributed to KTF, the earliest Trifari mark. The quality and workmanship to support this attribution are certainly present, though no signed example has been seen. Clip back holds well. No missing rhinestones.
