Black & Gold Cameo Rickshaw Pin & Earrings
Item #AC1511256
This outstanding set appears to date to the Victorian Revival of the 1930s to 1940s. Pin measures 11-1/4 x 1-5/ inches. Victorian revival style back with black enameling over gold plating. The central glass stone is claw set, and shows a relief gold-colored Chinese man pulling a rickshaw against a black glass background. Clear glass is fused as a crystal over the relief-work. Safety clasp holds well. Matching screw-back earrings measure 1/2 x 5/8 inch. They are identical to the pin. Minor wear to the gold plating of the pin. No wear to earrings. Both earrings have some verdigris to the gold-work under the glass, obscuring the face and head of the man. Very good condition overall. (SOLD)
