1940s Gold Vermeil Pink Amethyst Brooch

This large flower brooch dates to the 1940s, World War II era. It measures 2 x 3-7/8 inches. The flowers are plated in rose gold vermeil over sterling. The stems and leaves are in yellow gold vermeil over sterling. The stones are prong-set pink foiled glass faux amethysts. Very good condition except for replacement pin on back. Safety clasp works well, but replacement pin is a little thick for the clasp, so it snaps in and out instead of slipping in smoothly. Hallmarked STERLING.
