Large Celluloid & Bakelite Cameo Brooch

Measures 2-1/2" in diameter. A deeply molded cameo made of pink-tinged celluloid is centered inside a round butterscotch bakelite brooch. The bakelite has an ornately etched border which creates a diamond-shaped frame of smooth bakelite around the cameo. C-clasp holds well. No damage to bakelite or celluloid. This exceptional piece dates the 1930s. (SOLD)
