Walter Lampl Sterling Reverse-Painted Crystal Dog Bracelet

Measures 7-1/4" long and 1/2" wide. Every other link of this wonderful 1930s bracelet is a sterling openwork Scottie dog. The alternating links are reverse-carved and -painted glass crystals with mother of pearl backs, each depicting a different dog breed. One is a Scottie, another is a Fox Terrier, the third is an English Pointer, and the last is a Boston Bull Terrier. The scottie and the pointer are shown in profile, full-figure. The fox and Boston bull terriers are depicted only from the neck up. Marked WL STERLING. Spring ring clasp holds well. The details of the silverwork and painting in this bracelet are exceptional. Light patina of vintage silver has been left undisturbed.
