Walter Lampl "Bundles For Britain" Charm on Bracelet

Charm is a 1/2" cube. Bracelet measures 6-3/4" long. This gold-tone charm is a box with 3 clear plastic windows. Inside is a tightly bundled Union Jack flag, which we have not removed but which appears to be in excellent condition. The hinged top of the cube shows a enameled red British royal crown in relief and the words BRITAIN DELIVERS THE GOODS. Another side reads BUNDLES FOR BRITAIN, INC. The bottom of the cube bears the script WL in a shield Walter Lampl mark. This charm was sold beginning in September 1940 as part of a U.S. grassroots relief effort for Britain prior to the American entry into World War II. This charm is not commonly seen, and almost never on its original bracelet. Light patina consistent with its age. Wonderful condition overall. (SOLD)
