Walter Lampl Carnelian Art Deco Bracelet

Measures 6-3/4" long and 5/8" wide. This remarkable silver-tone filigree bracelet is set with 3 large peaked geometrically cut carnelians. Each stone measures 13 x 18 mm. and rises to a peak 9 mm. above its setting. Marked WL, which is an early Walter Lampl mark. The slide clasp holds well and has a very unusual safety locking mechanism which is not visible from the front of the piece. This bracelet can be dated to 1927 by a jeweler's retail catalog showing very similar Lampl pieces. No damage to filigree or plating. No scratches or signs of wear to the front of the stones. The center stone has a tiny chip on one corner of the back. This can not be seen when the bracelet is worn and does not affect the security of the setting. There are a few traces of old silver polish on the reverse side of the bracelet.
