Walter Lampl Amethyst & Pink Quartz Gold Filled Bracelet

Measures 7" long and 7/8" wide. The semi-precious gemstones in this Retro style bracelet are astonishingly lovely. Three 16 x 21 mm. pink quartz cabochons alternate with two 13 x 17 mm. cabochons of amethyst. These are collet set in thick yellow gold plate and linked in a "tank tread" style, dating the bracelet to about 1945. The pink quartz has a soft luminosity, similar to moonstones. The amethysts are brightly colored and translucent, with tiny crystalline inclusions of darker, richer purple. Marked 1/20-12K-G.F. and with the script WL on a shield. Fold-over clasp holds well. No damage to the stones. No wear to the gold plating. (SOLD)
