Very Early Walter Lampl Art Deco Silver Filigree Bracelet
Item #CI12587
Measures 7-1/4" long and 5/8" wide. This wonderful Walter Lampl bracelet has classic Art Deco styling, with silver-tone metal filigree box-style links, a green glass faux chrysoprase peaked cabochon, and 2 rectangular moss-green casein plastic links. The clasp is especially interesting, as it has both a slide-in box-style feature which is released by pressing the buttons on each side of the double prong that slides into the box, and an invisible safety feature which folds over the back of the clasp, securing it snugly. Marked WL. this is one of the earliest examples of Lampl's work we have yet seen. No wear to metal. Clasp holds well. Extremely minor surface wear to peaked cabochon. The casein color has faded on the back, but retains its rich green color on the front. Some very superficial signs of wear to the plastic. This does not detract, but merely adds to the vintage patina and beauty of the piece. $325.00 (Includes insured shipping to a U.S.A. address)
