Astonishing All Original Walter Lampl Puffy Heart Sterling Charm Bracelet

Measures 7" long. This beautiful charm bracelet dates to the 1940s. Unlike bracelets which were assembled with charms collected by an individual woman to represent important events in her own life, this bracelet appears to have been sold by Lampl already loaded with his charms, on a link bracelet which can be seen in the later 1956 Walter Lampl catalog. There are 12 puffy heart charms, 11 small padlock charms, plus a padlock clasp which securely holds the bracelet. The sturdy bracelet has an ornate pattern molded into each link. There are 2 different types of puffy heart charms - 6 with a pattern of shamrocks and four-leaf clovers, 6 with a pair of hearts joined by a rope tied in a lover's knot. All of these charms are marked STERLING and with the script WL in a shield hallmark. The 11 small padlock charms are marked simply STERLING. The heart padlock clasp is marked with the full Lampl hallmark - script WL in a shield - and STERLING. This outstanding bracelet is in beautiful condition. No dents or other damage. Light patina of vintage silver has been left undisturbed. This is a rare opportunity to acquire a fully loaded original 1940s Lampl charm bracelet. (SOLD)
