Early Fred Harvey Style Silver & Turquoise Navajo Bracelet
Item #BX12111215
Measures 5-1/4" long, with 1" gap, and is 3/8" wide. Could be bent to fit slightly larger wrist. This charming hand-stamped bracelet features what appear to be dogs, arrows, and birds. The dogs have been applied in opposite directions, so the bracelet is the same viewed from either side. A 6 x 9 mm. cabochon of green-blue turquoise with very fine matrix is set at the center. Although it is unmarked, the bracelet is definitely silver. It is probably coin silver, like the other bracelet found with this estate, which indicates a silver purity slightly less than sterling - probably 900 parts per thousand as compared to sterling, which is 925 parts per thousand. Lovely patina of vintage silver. No damage to stone. (SOLD)
