Green Jadite Glass Mexican Sterling Bracelet

Measures 7-3/8" long and 1-1/4" wide. The links are set with carved green glass banded in silver. This glass is of a similar shade to the popular "Jadite" kitchen glassware of the 1930s. When viewed from the side, the glass can be seen to be richly layered in shades of lighter and darker green. Marked HECHO EN MEXICO 925 in a circle with the letters EDR and TIZ inside the circle. This mark dates the bracelet to before 1948. Slide clasp holds well. Lovely patina of old silver. No chips or other damage to glass. (SOLD)
