Schiaparelli Ruby & Aurora Borealis Bracelet & Earrings Set

Bracelet measures 7-3/8" long and 1-1/2" wide. Matching earrings measure 1-1/8" square. All pieces are plated in gold and set with deep ruby-red cabochons and aurora borealis navettes and rounds. Bracelet has fold-over clasp that holds well and safety chain is intact. Clip backs of earrings hold tightly. All pieces marked Schiaparelli in script with no copyright symbol. Earrings also marked PAT. 156452. This patent number is for the clip mechanism and dates to 1949. This patent number and the absence of a copyright symbol suggest that this jewelry was made between 1949 and 1954. Very minor wear to gold plating on bracelet clasp and earring backs. Very slight roughness of gold plating on a small area of one earring front.
