Measures 1-1/4" wide and 7" inside circumference. Bright silver-tone metal, deeply sculpted and beautifully constructed in an elaborate fruit and leaf design. Weighty and substantial. Marked on the slide clasp with the old-style WHITING & DAVIS MESH BAGS mark, with no copyright symbol. Clasp holds tightly, safety chain intact. No wear or signs of use. This is a highly unusual piece in outstanding condition, probably dating to the 1940s Victorian Revival period. (SOLD)
