Sturdy Hand-Stamped Copper Cuff Bracelet

Sturdy Hand-Stamped Copper Cuff Bracelet

Item #AJ12545

Measures 7/8" wide and 5-7/8" long, with a 1-1/4" gap. Nice heavy weight copper, finely stamped and detailed with Native American symbols. Marked with 2 C's facing each other and nearly touching. Lovely patina. No verdigris. This type of copper bracelet was produced by Native Americans in the Southwest during the 1930s and 1940s. Similar examples can be seen on page 134 of "Southwest Silver Jewelry" by Paula Baxter. Many of these old copper pieces were destroyed during the metal drives of World War II. $120.00 (Includes insured shipping to a U.S.A. address)
