1950s Sterling & Turquoise Navajo Bracelet

1950s Sterling & Turquoise Navajo Bracelet

Item #AF122242

Measures 1" wide at front. Band is 5-3/8" long, with 1" gap. Could be adjusted to fit a slightly larger or smaller wrist. This lovely bracelet features a 14 x 17.5 mm. cabochon of finely colored sky-blue turquoise. The stone has a fine crack which follows a line of pale beige matrix. The stone is surounded by a frame of looping wirework and flanked on each side by applied silver fans. The band is beautifully stamped and ornamented. Light patina of vintage silver has been left undisturbed. This lovely bracelet was purchased during the late 1950s by a woman who was working as a nurse on the Navajo Reservation at Fort Defiance, Arizona. $145.00 (Includes insured shipping to a U.S.A. address)
