Fred Harvey Era Thunderbird Bracelet
Item #AA1252912
Measures 1/2" wide at front and 5" long, with 1-1/4" gap. This wonderfully complex older bracelet is just loaded with Native American symbolism. Coiled around the small turquoise cabochon are 2 snakes, each appearing to swallow its own tail. High relief thunderbirds engraved with rainclouds frame this central element. The band is entirely covered with stamped symbols. These include flowers, crosses, arrows, feathers, and many more. This bracelet unmarked and appears to be made of coin silver. It dates to the 1940s to 1950s. Moderate patina of vintage silver has been left undisturbed. (SOLD)
